I like images that are more open ended...I find myself daydreaming easily about the hopes of the future and the visions that God is unfolding in my heart. What is on the horizon? What is the next challenge? What is the next moment going to hold that gives me opportunity to grasp the Kingdom as well as the call to incarnate Jesus even more? That's why I like images...they are open ended. They are not full of answers - like that which you get in a sermon or a magazine article. They are not full of cliches that are supposed to sound significantly Christian - they are not full of the triteness you often get when you sit with someone who is operating on a break neck pace and is squeezing you into their hectic work schedule. That's why I can stare at an image for a while and begin to think...ponder...imagine...pray. I'm questioning my next steps...I know where my feet are now and that's good. Nothing wrong with doing that...what is capturing my imagination is what God is up to. The times are changing...the horizon is opening up as it hasn't in quite some time. That's why I like open ended images...as you can see. It isn't obvious, is it?

COMMENT-BODY:I always get a feeling of relief and release when I look into an image like this. I don't feel bound to deciding an answer or finding some concrete truth like I've grown up doing with everything. I'm definately a "recovering fundementalist."
