Grandparent-hood never felt so good! This pic shows the newest addition to our ever-growing collection of Grandbaby girls! Kaelynn Martini was born late last night to our daughter Chaya and son-in-law Brian. The Martini's just got a night cap! Yep, we were trying to come up with ways to name her, "shaken not stirred" or "dry" Martini but Kaelynn is sounds much more like a real name. Even so, we'll take another Martini in a heartbeat! We are so proud of our little girl and her husband...they were wonderful during the birth process...and now there's a new little family. Kaelynn weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz...measured 20" long at birth. She's got strawberry blonde hair (which does scare me a bit) but all in all, a true cutie and a real miracle from God. One quick story...Chaya had the "usual" birth meds and actually laughed as Kaelynn was born. It was the laugh that actually provided the final push for the baby to be born. That is sooooo cool...made me wonder, what God must have done when he created Adam. Did He laugh in delight of His creation? I think so! No doubt, it is a miracle and it is an occasion of unspeakable joy! Better go get a nap...I'm feeling very old at the moment!
