Now, you know me...er, well, maybe you don't. Let me put it this way...I've been addicted to information, new insights, thoughts and, generally, filling my head with whatever could and should spark some sort of renewal in me. It seems like my financial life is just about in total ruins because of my obsession with new books. In many respects, between you and me, I am secretly conspiring to take over my son's bedroom when he leaves so that I can buy more books...and file more articles. Ha ha! I'm mad! I'm crazy! I need more, more, more! Unfortunately, sometimes somebody's words can cut through all the others. These words came from a download I took from Relevant Magazine. I read the title and I said to myself, "me, I feel like that...I wonder what he has to say that might brighten my day". Well, I really didn't say that! What I really said was, "self, here's another sucker who doesn't have their head and heart right with God". You guess it...I fell right into a self-righteous hole. I went on to read the article. It makes more sense than I am about to admit without taking up the entire day confessing online how I suck. So, why don't you read it. Maybe you'll feel the same way.
